OGRA allows CPL and PARCO export furnace oil in January

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has allowed Cnergyico Pk Limited (CPL) and Pak Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) to export High Sulphur Furnace Oil (HSFO) and furnace oil respectively during the month of January.

Both refineries had sought permission from OGRA to export surplus furnace oil during the month of January 2025. In a letter to Managing Director, CPL, Executive Director, OGRA (OSC), Iftikhar Mehmood, has cited reference of Refinery’s letter of December 27, 2024 and to conveyed that CPL may proceed for exporting 30,000 M tons (+ / – MTs) of High Sulphur Furnace Oil 180 CST during the month of January2025, subject to local upliftment as per plan, The refinery has also been advised to maximize loading flow rate to ensure sailing of cargo in the assigned laycan window.

In a separate letter to MD, PARCO. OGRA gas has conveyed that PARCO may proceed for exporting 50,000 MT (+/- MTs) of furnace oil during the month of January 2025, subject to local upliftment as per plan.
