ISLAMABAD: The Oil Companies Advisory Council (OCAC) has assured the government of its full support and the uninterrupted functioning of the oil sector during the current critical period.
In a letter addressed to the Director General (Oil), Petroleum Division, the OCAC highlighted the challenges posed by the prevailing security situation and its potential impact on the country’s energy infrastructure and oil supply chain.
“At this critical juncture, when national energy security is paramount, we reaffirm our full commitment to supporting the Government of Pakistan,” the OCAC stated. It added that its teams are prepared to provide round-the-clock support and are ready to deploy resources wherever necessary to ensure the continuity of oil sector operations.
The OCAC further affirmed its alignment with the Ministry’s directives and expressed readiness to assist whenever required. It also offered to undertake any special assignments, consultations, or collaborative initiatives deemed necessary by the Director General (Oil). Ends
