ISLAMABAD: In a rare and visually striking tribute, Pakistan’s largest oil refining company, Cnergyico Pk Limited, recently lit up New York’s iconic Times Square, with digital billboards showcasing messages of support for the Pakistan Armed Forces, national leadership, and the citizens of the country.
The public display followed Pakistan’s recent precision missile strikes under Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. The name of the operation, derived from Surah Al-Saff (61:4), refers to as “one concrete structure,” symbolizing unity and strength in national defence.
The Times Square display served as a message of solidarity and pride, aimed at both domestic and international audiences.
Cnergyico, which operates the country’s largest oil refining complex with a takeaway capacity of 156,000 barrels per day, also manages a nationwide network of approximately 500 petrol pumps under the Byco brand. The company additionally operates Pakistan’s first and only Single Point Mooring (SPM) facility, recognized as a strategic asset vital to the country’s energy security.
In its messages, Cnergyico paid tribute to the role of the armed forces, praised the leadership, and lauded citizens for standing firm.
