ISLAMABAD : Pakistan’s first-ever US crude oil cargo, chartered by Cnergyico on Wednesday docked at the company’s SPM port

Historic day for Pakistan’s energy sector as first-ever US crude oil cargo vessel MT Pegasus docked at Cnergyico’s SPM.

MT Pegasus carrying 1 million barrels of US WTI crude oil for Cnergyico reaches Balochistan, becoming the largest ever sized oil vessel to berth in Pakistan.

MT Pegasus was loaded with US crude in Houston on 14 September and arrived at Cnergyico’s offshore terminal today.

Cnergyico imports 1 million barrels of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude, marking a first for Pakistan.

US crude import commences, following Government’s trade deal, as Cnergyico brings US oil vessel MT Pegasus to its port in Balochistan.

Loaded on 14 September in Houston, the Cnergyico-imported MT Pegasus carrying 1 million barrels of WTI crude arrived today, becoming biggest oil tanker to berth on Pakistani ports.

The 1 million barrel WTI crude shipment from Houston on MT Pegasus oil vessel arrives at Cnergyico’s SPM today. This is the largest ever oil vessel to berth on Pakistani ports.
